Dat 12 The Dragon

OK not really a dragon but still it's a bloody big lizard about a foot and a half long and quite
heavy as you can see by the splash and if you look at the top left you'll notice the wake from the speed of his swim. His arms are thick about an inch and a half across used for climbing trees and swimming. I use to collect them when I was kid and you can tame them and they will just sit on you shoulder all day, they make great pets but this guy is too old to tame now.

  1. 5 pics for the price of 1! I like the detail shot in the bottom right in particular.

  2. And I like the one in the bottom left. If you could get more light on that in post processing and crop it a bit, that would make an awesome shot!

    And... more animals eh?

    Five shots in one package!
    And amazing too.
I love this brilliant animal and would like to have this one near in my house.
All my animals are only inanimated... :-)

  8. Hey! This is great. I do however think that if I met one in person my enthusiasm wouldn't be so enthusiastic (lack of creative words in my brain at the moment). I like the bottom right best - well shot with great dof.

  9. They look very heavy to carry around on your shoulder - a small one might be OK.
Good shots of a lizard in action, I'd be running the other way - fast!

  10. You've got these lizards running around your backyard? Yikes! That's one reptile that can make me scamper away asap. Great photo collage, though, it really shows off what this lizard is like.

  11. Wow, we don't have anything like that wandering around...just wild turkeys popping in once in a while. I didn't know they swam!

  12. Wow! To think, you've got all these "pets" roaming free. Here, they cost hundreds of dollars and are kept pent-up in cages. Awesome collage.

  13. Nice collection, the bottom right is very detailed.
I like lizards, they are much less scarier than snakes, even at this size.
